TBN Middle East

It began as a simple vision, as God spoke to Iranian-American Pastor Reza Safa about taking the gospel to the Middle East and the millions of Muslims who had never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. Although Pastor Safa had no knowledge of satellite television or the power of the Internet, he stepped out in faith, launching the program Rouze Nejat—which translates as “Day of Salvation”—three times a week on a secular Iranian station. “It was a small start,” recalled Pastor Safa of those early days of Christian television in Iran, “but we knew that God wanted to birth a work that would bring spiritual transformation to Iran, the Middle East, and the whole Muslim world.”

TBN Nejat TV is one of our most powerful and impacting networks, reaching Iran and the Muslim world for Christ,” said Dr. Paul Crouch, Chief of Staff for the Trinity Broadcasting Network. “This is what Christian television is all about, and why TBN exists. We’re proud to be a part.”

Partnering with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Safa and the fledgling Nejat TV network expanded in 2006 with the official launch of TBN Nejat TV, a powerful satellite network that is taking Christian programming into the heart of Iran and the Middle East, as well as the Muslim population around the world.

“As Iran and the Middle East is heating up and becoming an increasing threat to Israel and the West, TBN Nejat TV is there, broadcasting the message of God’s love and salvation,” Safa noted. “For the first time in history we are seeing many Muslims throwing off Islam and coming to Christ. This is a time of great harvest, not only for Iran, but for the Muslim world and beyond.”

With nearly 80 percent of the Iranian population having access to satellite television, TBN Nejat TV is reaching a potential 75 million individuals in this Muslim country each day. Add to that the surrounding area impacted by the satellite signal of TBN Nejat, and there are nearly 110 million potential viewers who can be reached by Christian television in their own language.

“Even though the Iranian government has made it almost impossible to get Bibles or Christian literature into the country, TBN Nejat TV is getting the message of Christ to this people group through satellite broadcasts, as well as through live-streaming and video on demand through TBN Nejat’s website,” said Safa. “This is one of the most effective ways for reaching Iran and the Muslim world for Christ.”

Every day TBN Nejat broadcasts powerful programs that are changing lives and bringing hope. Imagine individuals and families viewing such anointed programs as This Is Your Day with Benny Hinn, Ed Young’s The Winning Way, or Ever Increasing Faith with Dr. Fred Price. Or how about Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural, Mark Chironna’s Master’s Touch, and TBN’s Behind the Scenes with Dr. Paul Crouch—all translated into the Farsi language.

There are even special programs geared toward Muslims, like Dr. Nasir Sadikki’s Winning With Wisdom, Living Hope with Ellie and Sourik Davidian, and Valley Iranian Church with Pastor Ramin Changizi.

With thousands of calls and reports coming in from viewers all over Iran, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S., it is clear that TBN Nejat TV is making a huge impact, not only in the Middle East but across the earth.

Paul Crouch was right in deciding to broadcast to the Middle East.

Thank you for launching Nejat TV. However, the quality of programme translations and dubbings are not good enough to attract wide audience. For now, that is your worst pitfall.
