TBN, Paul Crouch’s Christian network, airs sermons from churches all over the country every Sunday. One of these featured pastors is Jentezen Franklin. Franklin is the pastor of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia. His weekly broadcast is called Kingdom Connection, and it airs Free Chapel’s messages. The broader Kingdom Connection ministry includes web videos, blogs, instruction on spiritual and biblical topics, feeding the homeless, rebuilding homes in Haiti, and public speaking about God and the Bible.
Jentezen is the son of a Church of God pastor. He grew up in and around the church and originally wanted to be an evangelist. His first time to speak at Free Chapel, he was invited as a guest speaker and evangelist in 1989, after the previous pastor had passed away. By 1992, Jentezen was the senior pastor and the church had grown out of its old building. The small congregation of 300 has grown to a few thousand. Today, Free Chapel is in its third home and has another campus in Irvine, California. Jentezen wanted church growth but he did not expect for his messages to be on television. One day a guest speaker did not warn Franklin and told the congregation that he believed this church’s messages should be publically aired. He called for an offering right then and enough cash came in to get the television ministry off the ground.
Jentezen oversees the teaching duties of both campuses and he leads the many ministries of Kingdom Connection. He has written and spoken extensively on the subject of fasting, including his most recent book, Fasting. This spiritual discipline holds a special place in his heart and he desires for all Christians to part in the biblical call to fast.

Please pray for me and my two precious sons (Vance and TD). I will go to court on May 7, next month, for trial all day. First, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you prayed for us. I can see that God did touch my social worker’s heart to help me to get my boys back to me, and the judge becoming softened by smiling at me from the last court on April 2. Wow, I can see that God took control of the whole situation for me as I finally let go of my flesh fighting to get my boys back to me. I let God do it for me because I could not do it and I am so burned out from on-going court for almost 2 years. My boys want to come home and they are looking up to me for fight for them. I told my boys that we need to leave that to God and let God fight for us. They are waiting so patience for God to answer our prayer to break the demons’ power that prevents us reunited. We all are children of God and we believe Jesus Christ is our Lord, Savior and Master in our lives. I am a survivor from the domestic violence from my ex-husband and I have to protect my boys. God knows what in my heart and He told me in my vision last year to call someone to help me by someone’s prayer. So I wait for His time and who to call until now God have touched my heart from time to time to inform me to email to you to pray for me as He instructed me to do.
