Dr. Jack Graham is the speaker for Power Point, a weekly broadcast of his messages that appears on TBN, the giant Christian network started by Paul Crouch. In 1994, Jack and his wife Deb decided that it was time to launch their vision of using the television medium to spread the message of the gospel. TBN was the perfect fit. Now, more than fifteen years later, Power Point can still be seen on the network every Sunday morning.
In 1989, Jack and Deb entered Prestonwood Baptist Church, which already had a sizable 8,000 member congregation. Under Jack’s leadership, the church has grown to 28,000 members on multiple locations. He has pushed the vision of always expanding the church’s outreach. Not only do they do so through televised messages, but a wide reaching community ministry that reaches thousands.
PowerPoint Ministries was originally just the televised broadcast of his Sunday sermons. Now it includes a daily radio show, online streaming content, smart phone viewing, and international television that is largely accomplished with the help of TBN. Email subscribers can even receive a daily devotional in their inbox to help them with their study of the Word. Literally millions of people now have access the message of the gospel through PowerPoint Ministries.
In addition to his pastoral work and leading PowerPoint, Dr. Graham is also a prolific author. He has written several works on Christian living, including, Life According to Jesus, Powering Up, A Man of God, and Marriage by the Book. He and Deb co-authored Courageous Parenting, teaching parents how to raise their children well according to the biblical standard.
Jack was first ordained in 1970 and received his theological training from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has twice served as the President of the Southern Baptist Convention and once as the President of the Convention’s Pastor’s Conference. He and his wife Deb live in Frisco Texas and have three children.
