Dr. David Jeremiah has a mission: to the deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world. Since April 2000, Dr. Jeremiah has partnered with Paul Crouch, TBN and The Church Channel to bring his dynamic, relevant and inspirational television program Turning Point to homes across the United States and Europe.
Raised in a ministry family, Dr. Jeremiah felt a call to ministry. After receiving his bachelors degree in 1963 from Cedarville College in Ohio, he married his college sweetheart, Donna Thompson. He proceeded to earn his Masters degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1967 and was awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree from Cedarville College in 1981. Dr. Jeremiah founded a local church in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1969 and then moved to San Diego in 1981 where he took over as the senior pastor of what is now Shadow Mountain Community Church.
In 1982, Dr. Jeremiah founded Turning Point Ministries and began a radio program that he continues to broadcast today. That same year he also began broadcasting the Turning Point television program locally to the San Diego area. In 2000, Turning Point began broadcasting through TBN and The Church Channel to homes across the United States and Europe.
In addition to his San Diego-based church and his numerous broadcasts, Dr. Jeremiah is also a prolific author, publishing over a dozen books several of which are New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-sellers. He also is a well-sought after speaker at colleges and seminaries across the nation as well as chapels for sports teams in the NFL, NBA and the MLB.
