Legendary Christian Artist Carman Brings Innovative Flair to TBN

To call him a legend in the Christian music world would be an understatement. Simply put, Carman Domenic Licciardello—known by millions the world over simply as “Carman“—redefined what it means to minister Christ’s love through music, drama, video, and the arts. And today this dynamic recording artist, actor, producer, author, and world-renowned evangelist brings that same innovative flair to Trinity Broadcasting Network as a regular host of TBN’s popular daily Praise the Lord program, as a frequent guest host at TBN’s Holy Land Experience, and through his popular movies and music videos.

“TBN and Carman have been partners in the work of the Kingdom for many years,” said TBN founder Paul Crouch. “And we’re proud and blessed to have this dynamic man of God as a regular part of our broadcast team. He’s become one of our most popular and recognized Praise the Lord hosts.”

Those who attended Carman’s sold-out concerts in the stadium venues back in the 1980s and ‘90s say they were more like rock-n- roll Billy Graham crusades than Christian music events. But when the smoke cleared, the cheering died, and the music faded into an altar call, throngs of young people responded to the invitation to follow Christ—often as many as 5,000 at a time streaming down to the counseling area to have their lives healed and changed for eternity.

Carman brings that same flair and passion to TBN every time he hosts Praise the Lord, appears at Holy Land Experience, or hosts a special night of music on TBN. And there’s even a TBN Video-on-Demand site to view block-buster movies and videos from Carman like The Champion and Mission 3:16.

“When Carman’s on TBN you can expect an exciting and life-changing experience,” said Paul Crouch. “His love for Christ, his commitment to excellence, and his devotion to the work of the gospel are the very elements that have driven the work of Trinity Broadcasting Network for nearly forty years.”
