Wondrous Programming This Christmas on TBN’s Smile of a Child

LOS ANGELES (December 16, 2009) — TBN’s Smile of a Child television network (SMILE) is set to bring joy and smiles to kids of all ages this Christmas. Smile of a Child is an extension of the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s (TBN) faith-based network, a favorite with American audiences and millions of viewers across six continents.

Christopher the Christmas Tree is the “tree-mendous” musical story of Christopher, a shaggy tree who dreams of being a beautiful Christmas tree. Airs on the 19th at 7:30PM, the 20th at 5:00PM, the 24th at 5:00AM, and the 25th at 7:30AM (PST).

A Fruitcake Christmas celebrates the much-anticipated arrival of Grannypillar’s scrumptious fruitcake, as Hermie and his friends prepare for Christmastime in the garden. Airs on the 20th at 6:30PM, the 24th at 5:30PM, and the 25th at 12:00PM and 7:00PM (PST).

Once Upon a Stable is the hilarious tale of the very first Christmas with a cow, a mouse, a horse, a pig, and a rooster who receive an important houseguest in their Bethlehem stable. Airs on the 19th at 8:30PM, the 20th at 4:30PM, the 24th at 10:00AM and 9:00PM, and the 25th at 10:00AM (PST).

Spunky’s First Christmas is the story of some lovable puppies, a family Christmas, and a big city full of excitement. Airs on the 20th at 3:00PM, the 24th at 5:00PM, and the 25th at 1:00AM and 5:00PM (PST).

Featuring toys that come to life after dark, Storyteller Café: The Gift is a delightful and unusual presentation of the Christmas story. Airs on the 19th at 7:00PM, the 24th at 8:30AM and 6:30PM, and the 25th at 6:30PM (PST).

The Prince of Peace tells the story of Mary and Joseph being visited by angels, and the world-altering birth of baby Jesus. Airs on the 19th at 8:00PM, the 20th at 8:30AM, the 24th at 3:00PM, and the 25th at 12:30AM and 3:00PM (PST).

Narrated by Christopher Plummer, The First Christmas is a colorful, animated production of the story of Jesus’s birth. Airs on the 18th at 10:00PM, the 20th at 5:30PM, the 24th at 9:30PM, and the 25th at 8:30PM (PST).
